RISING TOGETHER - Natya Idol Benefit Night

Our Purpose Dear Patrons and Friends of the Arts, Every great artist was once a young dancer waiting for a stage. Through American Natya Idol, Soorya Performing Arts has built a nationwide network that gives talented young Indian classical dancers exactly that: a real audience, in real theaters, across the United States. Our Natya Idol winners come from cities like Dallas, Austin, Kansas City and St. Louis. They have trained for years in Bharatanatyam, Kathak and other classical forms, and they are ready to carry these traditions into mainstream American dance and music. What stands between them and the stage is cost: flights, hotels, theater rentals and fair support for their artistry. We invite you to help close that gap by pledging your support for the 2027 Natya Idol Performance Series. Our 2027 Plan: 18 Cities, 55 Young Artists In 2027, the Natya Idol Performance Series will travel to 18 cities across the USA, with 3 to 4 artists performing in each city, about 55 young artists in all. To make this possible, we need to raise $122,000. These are real numbers, we need real support.
